Pay-as-you-go Minecraft hosting

Stop paying rent on an empty world.

Servers metered in 12-minute increments. Start one when your friends are online, stop it when they log off, and pay nothing at all for the days nobody plays.

The arithmetic

Two evenings a week costs about $17 a month.

That is six hours a week on the 8 GB tier, at $0.65 an hour. The month your group drifts off to another game, the same server costs you nothing, because there is nothing to bill.

How it works

Three things to know

  1. 01

    Put credit on the account

Top up whenever you like — there is no subscription to cancel. $5 lands on your account free when you sign up, which is roughly seven hours on the 8 GB tier.

  2. 02

    Start a server

Choose a version, a flavour, and a region. It is accepting connections in under two minutes, and the first 12-minute increment is charged as it boots.

  3. 03

Stop it when you are done

Hit stop, or leave idle shutdown on and it stops itself 10 to 15 minutes after the last player disconnects. Your world stays exactly where it was. Billing goes to zero.

Three sizes, billed by the increment

The 12-minute increment is the unit you are actually charged. Everything else in this table is derived from it.

What is already working

Shipped and in use today. We would rather list eight real things than twenty aspirational ones.

  • Start and stop on demand

No reservation, no warm-up window. Boot when the group is online.

  • Versions and flavours

Pick your Minecraft version and server type at creation. Mods and plugins supported.

  • Backup and restore

Snapshot on demand, roll back from the dashboard when an experiment goes sideways.

  • US and EU regions

us-east-1 or eu-west-1, chosen per server so latency lands where your players are.

  • Self-healing checks

Health checks catch most crashes and bring the server back without you noticing.

  • Idle shutdown

On by default. Stops an empty server so it cannot quietly drain your credit.

  • Resize in one click

Move between tiers as your world grows. The same world, at a new rate.

  • SFTP file access

Reach the server files directly for configs, datapacks, and manual modpack work.

The dashboard

Four screens, no learning curve

The whole product is a handful of screens. Here they are, unretouched.

Server Management Dashboard

Every server, its state, and what it has cost you so far — on one screen. Start and stop from the same row.

Your first seven hours are on us.

$5 of credit lands on your account at signup. No card, no trial countdown, no plan to remember to cancel.
